Just like other beta-hydroxy acids, salicylic acid is the key active on acne, pimples,oily skin, clogged pores, and keratosis treatment. It acts as a keratolitic, increasing epidermal desquamation, unclogging pores and neutralising bacteria and therefore reducing the appearance of pimples.
