Salicylic Acid is one of the best acids to penetrate into the sebaceous gland, helping to dissolve skin cells which in turn will help prevent pores becoming clogged. And finally, Zinc has anti-bacterial properties to help fight acne causing bacteria. This product can be used every morning on cleansed skin. Repair & Renew Gel – This gel is formulated with Glycolic and Mandelic Acid to further help keep pores unclogged and help fight acne causing bacteria. We already discussed Glycolic Acids ability to help keep pores unclogged but it is also excellent to help improve skin tone and texture, especially for people who suffer with post acne scarring. Mandelic Acid, just like zinc, had anti-bacterial properties, to further help the battle against acne causing bacteria. This product can be used at night on cleanser skin.
